Kitty Witch

Never mess with a witch, because her kitty might come after you!

Story

Kitty Witch is the adventure of the cat of a witch whose beloved owner has been kidnapped into a dungeon full of enemies. What the monsters don't know is that the apparently innocent cat also knows a few magic tricks.

We are SillyBoys, a developer team formed by three Computer Science students:

How to play?

You can either get your original Game Boy and a flash cartridge, get the GB file of our game in the cartridge and play, or you can simply use any Game Boy emulator and load the ROM file to play it on your PC.

The file you must download in order to play is kitty_witch.gb

Objective and Controls

You must go through the dungeon rooms and defeat each one of the enemies you encounter. In order to do that you use these simple controls:

• Up     ->     Move up
• Down     ->     Move down
• Left     ->     Move left
• Right     ->     Move right
• A     ->     Shoot spells!

Slay all the creatures with your magic!

Credits and Licenses

All of the code, sprites and music for the game have been originally created by us, with only the following exceptions:

• We based part of the code and used general guidelines from the Game Boy game making manual by Alberto Rius.
• We created code and the engine structure of the project based on the tools and support materials of our professor Profesor Retroman. Mainly we have made use of the Game Boy developing framework GBTelera in order to create and build our game ROM.
• Many of the sprites were co-authored and designed by our friend NekoDraw.
